Job Description

We’re seeking a sharp, forward-thinking AI Security Engineer to join our growing security team. In this role, you’ll be at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity—designing, implementing, and defending intelligent systems against emerging threats. You’ll work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and security analysts to ensure our AI models and infrastructure are robust, trustworthy, and resilient.
Key Responsibilities
• Secure AI/ML Systems: Design and implement security controls for AI pipelines, model training environments, and inference systems.
• Threat Modeling & Risk Assessment: Identify vulnerabilities in AI systems, including adversarial attacks, data poisoning, and model inversion.
• Privacy & Compliance: Ensure AI systems comply with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and ethical AI standards.
• Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents involving AI components.
• Tooling & Automation: Develop tools to monitor, audit, and secure AI workflows and data pipelines.
• Collaboration: Partner with engineering, legal, and research teams to embed security into the AI development lifecycle.
• Security Research: Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging threats in AI and contributing to internal knowledge bases or external publications.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 1 year focused on AI/ML systems
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, model architectures, and data pipelines
• Experience with adversarial ML, differential privacy, or secure federated learning
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with red teaming AI systems or conducting penetration tests on ML models
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and model interpretability tools
• Contributions to open-source security or AI projects
