An employer is seeking an RF Systems Lead to sit in the Cincinnati, OH area 5x week onsite. This company supports large-scale Department of Defense contracts specific to space and aircraft sensors with the manufacturing of complex systems. This is will be a 6 month contract opportunity with the potential to convert full-time within the organization. This individual must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
This individual will be the technical lead of the program team, perform technical planning, system integration, validation and verification, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total RF communication systems. Analyses are performed at all levels to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total RF systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

* Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Physics or related Engineering discipline
* 9+ years of exp as a Systems Engineer OR electrical design engineer
* 5+ years of experience in RF electrical design, requirement development, RF modeling, material measurement, and RF testing and integration
o Circuit level design
* Leadership experience including mentoring and leading teams larger than 3, scheduling, and budget management
* experience with modulators, amplifiers, oscillators, filters, high frequency packaging and RF test equipment
*Experience customer facing
*Experience leading critical design reviews
* Aerospace / Defense industry experience (space, military/DoD)
* experience with microwave circuit designs for high-bandwidth upconverters, mixers, drivers, and power amplifiers at UHF, S-, X-, and/or Ku-band ranges
* System test and evaluation requirements development experience is a requirement.
* Knowledge of military and/or NASA component specifications, design processes, and hardware test/verification procedures.
* Prior experience with at least two programs, one being a medium scale and complexity program (i.e., > 5 System Engineers and/or >$10M)
