Job Description
An employer is seeking an EHS Leader in the Mason, OH area for a long-term opportunity. This EHS Leader will be joining an electronic production-based company that is a leader in the Space and Sensor industry. This individual will serve as the site EHS lead, operating with minimal supervision to drive environmental, health, and safety initiatives across the plant floor and work cross functionally with the electrical, mechanical and assembly teams. Daily responsibilities will include EHS Program Execution and Support (55%), Program Development and Compliance (15%), Risk Assessment (15%), Technical Advisory of EHS decisions and External Collaboration with vendors (15%). Prior experience ensuring safety and organization protocol is required and prior experience in an ISO or J-STD would be very beneficial. This role will be on site in Mason on a 9/80 schedule, which provides an off Friday every other week.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
4-6 years of hands-on experience supporting EHS programs in a electronics manufacturing, aerospace, or high-reliability environment
Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable state/local regulations
Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
