Job Description
A client in the Columbus, Ohio area is seeking a Project Coordinator for a top construction client. This individual will function as a hybrid between a traditional Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, and Junior Project Manager, depending on project size and duration. The role supports both office-based and field operations, handling critical project tracking, financial processing, and documentation while serving as a key communication link between the jobsite, project leadership, and operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being boots-on-the-ground while also owning the administrative and financial backbone of a project.
D2D:
Track materials through delivery using project tracking logs
Process invoices and support monthly financials and job cost reviews
Prepare and maintain monthly project financial projections
Support estimating, preconstruction planning, and job setup
Participate as a core member of the project team, reporting updates to operations leadership
Attend and contribute to project meetings (internal and client-facing)
Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation control
Split time between office and field: 30–60% site visits, depending on project size
Support multiple projects concurrently when based out of the office

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of concrete, self-perform, or large-scale commercial construction experience
1+ year of structural concrete experience.
3+ years of experience tracking materials, maintaining project logs, and processing invoices
3+ years of project documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, and tracking logs
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Strong understanding of project financials, including monthly projections, billing, and cost tracking
Familiarity with project buyouts, POs, and vendor/subcontractor coordination
Comfort working both in-office and in the field (30–60% site visits)
