Job Description
Design, analyze, and support testing of liquid hydrogen (LH2) and gaseous hydrogen (GH2) storage, transfer, and feed systems for propulsion and test applications
Support cryogenic test facilities, including system layout, instrumentation, procedures, and safety reviews for hydrogen operations [ainonline.com], [iifiir.org]
Perform thermal, structural, and fluid analyses related to cryogenic tanks, insulation systems, valves, and pressure management components
Develop and review test plans, operating procedures, and hazard analyses for hydrogen systems and facilities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across propulsion, materials, thermal, and systems engineering to mature hydrogen technologies for flight and ground applications
Support data analysis and documentation to inform future mission architectures and hydrogen infrastructure development

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
Hands‑on experience with liquid and/or gaseous hydrogen systems in aerospace, energy, or industrial environments [nasa.gov]
Experience with cryogenic fluids, vacuum systems, or high‑pressure gas systems
Working knowledge of hydrogen safety standards, hazard controls, and test operations
Ability to work on‑site in controlled lab or test facility environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior NASA or DOD experience
