Insight Global is looking to hire a Materials Manager for one of our largest fortune 250 clients to sit in Dayton, OH. As a Materials Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations within the materials group related to the planning, procurement, and inventory control of the facility to meet demand requirements and ensure a premier customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Lead the materials team including MRP Controllers, MRO Buyer, and Distribution Manager
Oversee planning, procurement, and inventory control to meet demand and ensure customer satisfaction
Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to resolve material shortages and optimize production schedules
Review and adjust MRP settings to maintain appropriate stock levels
Monitor and manage inventory objectives, aged WIP, and MRB material
Drive continuous improvement in materials planning and related processes
Own and report on materials-related metrics
Support new product introductions with materials expertise
Champion Lean manufacturing principles and promote a safety-first culture
Salary: 120-130k
