Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support engineering design and analysis for utility infrastructure projects.
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, field engineers, and clients.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and designers.
Stamp and seal engineering documents as required.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.

Previous work with Substations.

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience in one of the listed disciplines.

Proficiency with engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, PLS-CADD, CYME, or similar).
Strong understanding of utility standards and regulatory requirements.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with utility-scale projects.

Familiarity with NESC, NEC, IEEE, and other applicable standards.

Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
