Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Vendor Management Specialist to work for a growing Fortune 100 client. This person will be responsible for managing relationships with strategic IT vendors including contract negotiations, performance, risk and over $200MM spend. This person will hold and understand contractual, commercial, and operational working relationships with vendors to ensure effective delivery of committed products, services, and solutions. The person in this role will assist with definition and management of policy and process associated with IT vendor management functions, including collaboration with business units and stakeholders who may be responsible for adherence to or execution for policy and process. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:



Responsibilities:

* Assist Senior Vendor Management Specialist in building and maintaining a IT Vendor Management program including development of a program governance model.

* Assist Senior Vendor Management Specialist with segmentation and rationalization of company's IT vendor portfolio so appropriate focus can be applied to top-tier strategic vendor relationships/engagements.

* Coordinate with Supply Chain Commercial Advisors and Contract Leads to conduct RFPs for IT strategic vendors and ensure negotiated agreements capture desired deliverables and SLAs.

* Serve as the key stakeholder point of contact between IT strategic vendors and internal customers of IT vendor services and solutions.

* Collaborate with Senior Vendor Management Specialist on development of performance evaluation tools based on stakeholder needs and manage creation of scorecards and dashboards that will accurately present this data.

* Oversee data collection and report development for all strategic IT vendor performance, spend, risk and relationships.

* Communicate strategic IT vendor data to key stakeholders.

* Serve as internal consultant of IT vendor marketspace, understand IT goals and strategies related to IT vendors, and ensure sourcing strategies align with IT vendor/product lifecycle.

* Deliver performance feedback to IT strategic vendor organizations, serve as point of contact for escalation, and oversee action plans and corrective measures arising from the performance management process and drive issues to resolution.

* Partner with cross-functional business partners to track and report on IT strategic vendor financial viability, business continuity, and corporate and regulatory compliance.

* Lead IT vendor audits as required and partner with IT Asset Management to perform true-up/reconciliation activities for strategic vendors

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, IT, Business, or related field

* 5+ years experience in Supply Chain IT

* 3+ years of direct experience in Vendor Management including vendor relationship, contracts, negotiations, issue/risks, spend and performance management, etc

* Knowledge of operational IT processes

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills -- must have the ability to build relationships and trust

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Master's degree, C.P.M. or C.P.S.M. beneficial

* Supply chain experience within the oil and gas industry
