Senior Orion Implementation Consultant

We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Orion expert to lead the implementation of Orion Trading and Orion Summit Client Portal, replacing Tamarac, Tamarac Trading, and the Tamarac Client Portal. This individual contributor will serve as a one-person implementation powerhouse, driving data integrations, testing, and system stabilization across the firm’s technology ecosystem. This role is hybrid or remote within Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, configure, and deploy Orion systems including Trading, Billing, Performance, and Client Portal modules.
- Execute full lifecycle migration from Tamarac to Orion, including data mapping, account reconciliation, and validation workflows.
- Build and optimize integrations between Orion, Salesforce, eMoney, custodians, and internal data warehouses.
- Develop automated data validation and exception-handling routines to ensure data integrity and stable synchronization.
- Conduct rigorous unit testing, regression testing, and UAT while documenting functional and technical scenarios.
- Partner with internal engineering and data governance teams to enforce high data quality and scalability standards.

- Minimum 5 successful Orion implementation projects, preferably in wealth management environments.
- Deep expertise across Orion core modules, Orion Connect, API integration, and secure data transport mechanisms.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce data model integration, SQL, and data transformation pipelines.
- Proven ability to execute independently with minimal oversight in fast-paced, integration-heavy environments.
