Job Description
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Billing & Contract Data Analyst to support a high‑volume Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) client in Ohio. This role is responsible for reviewing client contracts and fee schedules, extracting billing‑related data from Salesforce, and ensuring accurate configuration and maintenance of client billing records within Tamarac and other integrated billing platforms.
This position plays a critical role in revenue accuracy, client transparency, and regulatory compliance by ensuring that client‑specific fee terms, exclusions, and custom billing arrangements are correctly reflected from CRM through downstream billing systems.
Responsibilities include:
Review and interpret client agreements, fee schedules, amendments, and custom billing terms, including:
- Advisory fee structures
- Tiered and blended fee schedules
- Client‑specific exclusions, caps, or negotiated terms
- Household‑level and account‑level billing nuances
Validate billing terms against firm standards and escalate discrepancies or ambiguities as needed.
Extract billing‑related data from Salesforce CRM on a recurring basis (weekly), supporting 6,000–8,000 contracts per cycle
Accurately enter and maintain client billing data within Tamarac and other integrated billing or portfolio accounting platforms.
Ensure consistency and data integrity across CRM, billing, and downstream systems.
Maintain a strong understanding of the end‑to‑end data flow from Salesforce to billing systems to invoicing.
Identify gaps, breaks, or inefficiencies in data handoffs and partner with Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to resolve issues.
Support billing readiness for periodic billing cycles and audits.
Perform quality checks to ensure billing configurations align with contractual terms and regulatory expectations.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing billing documentation and data validation.
Maintain organized records and audit trails for billing decisions and updates.
Document billing workflows, data standards, and exception handling procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve automation, accuracy, and scalability in high‑volume billing operations.
Support system enhancements or CRM/billing platform integrations as needed.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years analytical, accounting, or billing or fee experience
- Proven ability to establish, maintain and/or improve complex processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required, Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with large spreadsheets & uploads (greater than 10,000 rows) preferred
- Prior billing experience preferred
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Tamarac/Envestnet experience
- Ability to write Java script preferred not required
