Insight Global is looking for a .NET Software Engineer. The .NET Software Engineer will be responsible for comprehending and refactoring multiple .Net components working within the development platform. They will participate in the requirements, architecture, and design of this new development and upgrading existing systems. The candidate is expected to work with a team to create a high-level architecture and design of software and systems to build an overall strategy to accomplish the goal. The Development team is responsible for providing development support and new feature development for the product and the supporting systems and integrations. The team is working on mostly maintenance but there is some new development.
Drive technical requirements creation by working with Product Owners and the development team.
Perform high level analysis of existing system to build a prototype for technology upgrades which can be used to drive full development.
Collaborate with various sub-teams to gain a more comprehensive perspective on product and systems to determine solution for existing services and components.
Work within agile/SCRUM development framework.
Create high quality unit, system & acceptance tests by designing test systems and ensuring test data is accurately curated.
Participate in architectural and code reviews within the team.
Thoroughly document existing and new development components.
pay rate 60-75/hr depending on experience

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Computer Science-related discipline required.
Expertise in C# .NET Framework with 10+ years software development experience.
Demonstrate experience in architecting/developing/refactoring complex server-side frameworks that are well documented, scalable and unit testable.
Competent in working with technologies such as XML, JSON
Competent in high volume SQL query formulation for databases such as SQL Server, Oracle
Fluency in ancillary development tools like. git, Jira and other deployment tools
