Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking to bring an Accessibility Auditor onto the team. This person will be:

Conduct accessibility audits across diverse platforms and technologies.
Use automated tools (e.g., AXE) and manual testing methods to identify compliance gaps.
Document violations and produce detailed ACRs.
Collaborate with internal teams to translate findings into actionable IT remediation plans.
Develop a roadmap for accessibility improvements based on audit results.
Maintain flexibility in using internal VPAT templates, dashboards, and reporting tools.

Estimated pay: 50-60/hr

Required Skills & Experience

• Accessibility Background: titles might be “accessibility strategist” or “accessibility auditor” or “accessibility specialist” (tester could work but would have to learn the ACR)
• A least a couple years of experience
• Proven experience in accessibility auditing and familiarity with WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
• Familiar and comfortable with the VPAT template- will have to use that and put data in there
• Familiar with AXE and other automated testing tools
• Strong background in UI/UX design.
• Experience working with QA/testing teams.
• Ability to audit applications across industries—criteria remain consistent regardless of domain.
• Comfortable with repetitive audit tasks and high-volume deliverables (e.g., 27 ASAP audits due by end of January).
