Job Description

A well-known Government supporting company is seeking a Sensor Simulation Engineer to sit in Either Dayton, Florida ( Eglin) or Huntsville. This person will be joining a team of 4 to help evolve NASIC and AFRL customers within the radar/sensors world. They will be working with tools such as Xpatch, DIRSIG, FLITES and other tools that simulate synthetic aperture radar (SAR), Infrared (IR) and other remote sensing data. Other responsibilities will be primarily focused around providing expertise and foundational experimentation for sensor phenomenology and exploitation. They will be working alongside AI/ML engineers and ensuring they have the right data for them to then manipulate the models to get the right output. Projects can range from data processing and analysis to data fusion approaches for ML testing.

Required Skills & Experience

- B.S Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline
- 1+ years professional experience with Digital Imaging and Remote Sensing Images using tools such as (DIRSIG), FLITES, or Xpatch ( 1 of the 3)
- Proficiency in AI/ML Techniques
o Understanding/ working knowledge of algorithms
- TS clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with SAR applications
- Experience with Scene Generation
- Experience with Thermal sensor applications
