Job Description

An employer in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a SECRET Communication Systems Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will be responsible but not limited to the following: Will be supporting the DoD and work a part of a team that is dedicated to the integration of communication systems for mission platforms. Will evaluate technologies, perform assessments, enhance the design of the aircraft systems if needed and brief government customers. (Will work and focus on satellite/antenna communication systems). Most of this individuals time will be focusing on systems engineering management with an emphasis on technical process and requirements. Will be required to hold an active Secret clearance and have a hybrid schedule onsite (1-2x/week).

Required Skills & Experience

Active Secret DoD security clearance

Bachelor's Degree in engineering related field (Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering)

4+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related experience

Experience with integration communication systems, weapons, or sensor systems onto aircraft platforms

Experience working with prototypes

Experience briefing/interfacing with government customers

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Master's Degree

Experience working with 5th generation aircraft platforms.
