Job Description

An employer in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a Process Engineer to sit locally in Dayton. This individual will be working in fast-paced environment where they will be developing and delivering innovative CNC machine processes for new components. Their goal will be to meet customer and company cost targets as well as process capabilities. They will be working within the Process Engineering team and providing manufacturing expertise cross functionally to the operational and new product development teams. Within this opportunity, this individual will be working to provide design and process feedback to the team in order to create the most effective and innovative team.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or MET.

5+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

Strong experience with metal cutting including CNC machining centers, Swiss lathes, or CNC mill turns.

Experience in developing manufacturing processes for high volume metal components.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Medical Device background

Experience in metal forming or machine tending automation.

Software experience: statistical process control software, i.e. Mini-Tab is preferred. OR solid modeling or 2D modeling software
