A major client of Insight Global is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering in the Dublin, OH area. This manager will lead a team focused on supporting IT initiatives that make their IT landscape healthier and more efficient. This role is ideal for a people leader who enjoys being hands on, collaborating across teams, and driving strategic IT initiatives with high visibility across the organization.
Key responsibilities:
Drive modernization efforts to upgrade and re-platform lagacy systems
Review and evaluate Proofs of Concept (POCs), branch strategies, and architectural decisions.
Establish and enforce best practices around microservices, data lakes (e.g., Kibana), and DevOps.
Build and execute strategic plans while managing a mix of backlog and ad hoc technical tasks.

Proven experience as a technical leader with hands-on involvement in IT architecture and development.
Strong background in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevOps, and .NET.
Experience with data platforms, microservices architecture, and observability tools like Kibana.
Demonstrated ability to modernize legacy systems and lead complex migrations.
