Job Description
A client in the Columbus, OH area is seeking an Onsite Safety Coordinator for a top construction client supporting multiple data center projects. This individual will be responsible for maintaining a strong safety presence on active job sites while partnering closely with field leadership to ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. The ideal candidate has prior data center experience, an OSHA 30 certification, and a practical, balanced approach to safety—focused on keeping crews safe without being overly rigid. This is a permanent, salary-based role with travel between projects and strong long-term growth potential.
Day-to-Day
- Be onsite daily supporting job-specific safety needs
- Conduct safety walks and observations
- Ensure crews are following OSHA and company safety standards
- Partner with field leadership to proactively address safety concerns
- Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Complete safety documentation and reporting
- Serve as a safety resource without slowing production
