REMOTE Technical Writer

A customer is seeking a fully remote technical writer.



- Creating, modifying and writing business development proposals for a growing business in the federal information technology market.

- Work closely with the Proposal Manager, capture managers, and the full range of company staff in writing and overseeing the development and submission of winning proposals.

- Review RFPs to develop proposal writing plan.

- Technical documentation review process of resumes, project descriptions and technical approaches.

- Assist the Proposal Manager in development of proposal outline and compliance matrix, as needed.

- Create document flow diagrams and other graphics to illustrate technical concepts

- 6+ years of technical writing experience

- Experience supporting RFPs and proposals in the government sector

- Proposal writing

- Experience following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone. Identify and communicate risks associated with proposals

- degree in journalism or writing
