Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Network Implementation Engineer/Specialist to support equipment room audits, network staging activities, and on-site hardware assessments across multiple hospital locations. This role is ideal for a junior-level candidate who is eager to grow into a Network Engineer career path and is comfortable working independently in technical environments.

Required Skills & Experience

Conduct equipment room audits, including documentation of all IT hardware, cabling, racks, and network components.
Perform staging of all IT/network equipment, ensuring configurations meet project requirements before deployment.
Audit and assess data racks, cabling infrastructure, fiber types, and hardware readiness across hospital sites.
Travel to various facilities ahead of the implementation teams to perform site readiness checks.
Provide clear and thorough documentation, photographs, and reports for each audit or staging activity.
Collaborate with network engineering teams and follow direction from leadership while maintaining high autonomy in the field.
Maintain personal transportation for site visits and track mileage for tax purposes.
Adhere to onsite and HR compliance requirements for healthcare environments.
