Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Kubernetes Administrator to Lead the administration and management of Kubernetes clusters supporting ERP workloads. Candidates will Drive the transition of legacy on-prem ERP systems into containerized, Kubernetes-based environments and execute vendor-prescribed deployments, including:
Reviewing and interpreting vendor documentation
Conducting Proof of Value (POV) / Proof of Concept (POC) exercises
Implementing production-ready solutions
Deploy and manage ERP applications on Kubernetes clusters (on-prem and/or hybrid cloud)
Independently manage cluster lifecycle activities:
Cluster setup, configuration, orchestration and management
Deployment pipelines and workload posting
Performance monitoring and operational analysis
Work within AWS environments (EKS and/or hybrid Kubernetes models)
Automate infrastructure and data workflows using Terraform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, stability, and adherence to architectural standards
Perform post-deployment analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting

Required Skills & Experience

3–5+ years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) strongly preferred
3–5+ years of AWS experience (EKS or cloud-integrated Kubernetes environments)
3–5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Strong infrastructure background (systems, networking, platform engineering)
Proven ability to independently own and execute deployments
Experience working with structured/vendor-driven implementations
Ability to follow defined processes while also analyzing and optimizing deployments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with MicroK8s or lightweight Kubernetes distributions
Experience with EKS, AKS, or hybrid Kubernetes platforms
Background in software development or scripting (helpful for automation and debugging)
Experience supporting or deploying ERP systems (on-prem or SaaS-backed models)
Exposure to containerizing legacy applications
