Job Description

The client will implement an updated Enterprise Resource Planning system. As a Workstream Lead - Direct Material Procurement you will be part of the team that implements and maintains active procurement of direct material needed in a JIT manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for learning and becoming a subject matter expert in functional areas related to procurement in the ERP system.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Logistics or a closely related field or equivalent work experience in multiple areas
Three years or more of progressively responsible related experience in procurement, manufacturing, or operations management
Collaborates with plant support personnel to understand manufacturing processes, production schedules and effectively procure product to meet ideal Inventory targets to support a JIT manufacturing environment.
Ability to learn and document plant processes and recommend how they could be improved or automated.
Ability to train end users of varied positions and levels of technical ability.
Understanding of how schedule changes will impact the end user(s)
Ability to professionally manage multiple production lines and customers.
Excellent analytical skills / ability to make decisions based on data.
Experience with enterprise systems, particularly with:
Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
Procurement via scheduled release orders to supply base.
Procurement of manufacturing products
Ok Wearing a uniform! Provided for them

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of QAD is a plus
APICS or Six Sigma certification is a plus
Fluency in English, and Spanish
