Job Description:

A client of Insight Global's is seeking an entry-level AP Disbursement Specialist to join its Finance team and support the day-to-day accounts payable process. This role will be responsible for assisting with payment runs, including ACH transactions and check processing, while ensuring invoices are accurately processed and recorded. The individual will review and update payment reports, coordinate approvals with internal teams such as Treasury, and help prepare and distribute payments via mail or delivery services. Additionally, this position will maintain organized documentation and support general data entry and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoys working in a structured, routine-driven environment with a high level of accuracy on a team of 3. Training will be roughly 3 weeks.

Day to Day:

• Support the day-to-day Accounts Payable process by processing invoices and ensuring accurate recordkeeping
• Execute and assist with daily payment runs, including ACH transactions and check processing/distribution
• Review and update payment reports to confirm accuracy and completeness before disbursement
• Coordinate payment approvals with internal teams, such as Treasury, to ensure timely processing
• Prepare, print, and distribute checks via mail or FedEx while maintaining proper documentation
• Maintain organized payment records and assist with data entry and general administrative support for the finance team

- 1-2 years of past customer service / office admin experience
- 1-2 of data entry experience
- Basical computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams
Comfortable completing repetitive, structured tasks
