Job Description
Our client at Scientific Games is looking for 4 Technical Operations Engineer to join the Technical Operations team of 9 Engineers working on the Central Gaming Systems. This individual will be responsible for providing ongoing support and maintenance of 24x7 real-time transaction processing platforms. The 24x7 on call support will be a rotating schedule between the engineers. The operations Engineer will ensure the performance, stability and reliability of the platforms/systems, and process optimization. This individual will provide their technical expertise to problem solve, and support production work with cross functional teams. The right candidate is a great team player/communicator who is passionate about problem solving for operational engineering and critical transaction systems, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Salary range: $80,000.00 - $95,000.0

Required Skills & Experience
• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, networking).
• Base knowledge of Windows operations systems
• Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and system tasks.
• Containerization – proficient hands-on experience with containerization application management
o Kubernetes or Rancher
• Ansible – for Infrastructure automation and configuration management
• Soft skills required; ability and hunger to learn, self-sufficient, great communication especially when the employee needs help, positive attitude, patient, team player.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Podman - container management and deployment.
