Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Data Architect with experience in Apache Iceberg to design and implement data solutions that drive business intelligence and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes, along with hands-on experience utilizing Iceberg for managing large-scale, complex datasets.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of Data Architect with Iceberg
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in database design and management.
- Strong proficiency in Apache Iceberg, including data versioning, schema evolution, and partitioning strategies.
- Experience with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, PowerDesigner).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
