DAY TO DAY:
The responsibilities include performing material testing of soils, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete during placement on an active construction site. This involves interpreting specifications and working drawings, conducting field inspections, testing, sampling, and maintaining equipment. The role also requires obtaining and recording field data in an organized manner, generating and compiling field reports, and recording daily installed construction quantities. Effective communication with team members, contractors, and owners representatives is essential, as is maintaining equipment and adhering to public health and safety requirements. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
