Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a fulltime employee for our client who is looking for a Sr data scientist. We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking individual to join our team as a Data Science Researcher. In this role, you will delve into internal and external data, perform advanced statistical modeling, and develop pioneering data mining architectures to uncover trends and extract valuable insights from large, high-dimensional data sets. Your expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning will drive the development of new methodologies and processes that inform business decisions.



- Analyzes internal and external data and performs statistical modeling to develop actionable insights and recommendations to management regarding business and product performance.

- Develops data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends and extract knowledge from large, high dimensional data sets.

* Identifies areas to increase efficiency and automation of data analysis processes.

* Translate business problems/opportunities into technical requirements and data science specifications.

- Creates solutions that enable enhanced business performance and decision making through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques.

- Uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to develop processes automation.

- Researches and applies knowledge of existing and emerging data science principles, theories, and techniques to inform business decisions.

- Develops and maintains strong business knowledge and customer relationships.

- May estimate the economic impact of operational decisions.

- Leads small to moderately complex projects.

- May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have Requirements

* Experience in the Information Technology field focusing on AI/ML engineering projects, DevOps, MLOps and technical architecture specifically.

* Strong architecture & design experience, including experience deploying production enterprise applications in Azure that use AI/ML

* Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (within 6 months of hire)

* A minimum of 6 years of experience exploring and manipulating large data sets, leveraging structured and unstructured data sources, and applying predictive modeling. Experience in techniques for optimizing models, machine learning, and proficiency in analytical programming languages

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Ability to estimate the economic impact of operational decisions

- Comprehensive understanding in computer programming, including python

Ability to coach peers
