A large financial organization is seeking a Software Engineer that will sit hybrid onsite in Cincinnati Ohio. We are in search of a Backend Software Engineer who excels not only in technical proficiency but also as a proactive problem-solver, critical thinker, and active participant in task development. This role is tailored for a dynamic individual who drives innovative solutions, engages actively in project planning, and significantly contributes to our implementation processes.
You will be on the Collections Modernization squad initially partnering with Data Engineers to get raw data out of some legacy and modern systems. From there the Data Engineers will transform and manipulate the data as needed. Once those problems are solved you will help continue modernization of their backend applications by building microservices using java and springboot.

REST API development experience
Git and GitHub experience
