A large financial organization is seeking a Remote Application Support / SRE for a contract opportunity through the end of the year (with a likelihood for extensions into next year).
This individual will be brought on to alleviate the development team to provide L3 application support for two high profile applications - one java-based and one ruby-on-rails based. Additionally, this individual will be supporting:
· Integrations
· Building out performance, monitoring, and logging for the applications
Ensuring data flow modifying data that flows into Dynatrace/Splunk so that it can be used

· 5+ years of experience including building out performance and monitoring tools (++ building monitoring tools for ruby applications) and providing L2/3 application support
· ability to write code in Java and/or Ruby on Rails
· Dynatrace (for monitoring) AND Splunk (for logging)
· Set traces, metrics, alerts and logs
· Customizations, configurations
· Cloud experience (AWS +)
Familiarity with automation
