Day to Day:
An automotive oil manufacturer is looking to hire some Electro-mechanical Technicians for their team.
In this role you will be working on packaging equipment in a manufacturing plant, as you handle a variety of machinery including fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, date coders, and palletizers. Your role involves working with automated controls such as photo eyes, limit switches, pneumatic solenoids and cylinders, and Panel View parameters. You are responsible for troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, and making routine adjustments. Additionally, you work on rotating equipment like pumps, compressors, motors, drives, and conveyors, which includes tasks such as disassembly, replacing worn parts, gaskets, or packing, and alignments. Your job requires knowledge and familiarity with PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley and Siemens systems. Facility maintenance duties include managing the boiler, water system, compressed air, lighting, exhaust fans, and make-up air units.
