Job Description
A client in the Logistics and Transportation industry is looking for a Project/Program Manager focused on Acquisition Integration to join their team. The client is about to go through a large acquisition and needs all hands on deck to help with a seamless integration. Ideally this individual will sit in Chicago or Cincinnati, will accept remote candidates. If local to Chicago or Cincinnati onsite will be as needed to go to various locations, 25% travel or less.
• Strategic Planning and Integration: Develop and manage integration plans to align acquired companies with organizational goals and strategies. Define key milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure smooth transitions during M&A activities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, legal, finance, HR, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and expectations. Act as the central point of contact to manage communication between teams involved in the acquisition process.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges during M&A projects. Monitor compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee due diligence efforts, ensuring thorough analysis of the target company's operations, finances, and culture. Manage the integration of processes, systems, and teams between the acquiring and acquired entities.
• Reporting and Metrics: Track progress of M&A programs and provide regular updates to stakeholders through detailed reporting and dashboards. Measure success against predefined integration KPIs and adjust strategies as needed.
