A large financial organization is seeking an Application Support Analyst (ACH) for a contract opportunity through the end of the year (with a likelihood for extensions into next year & potential for hire).
This individual will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and usability of business-critical ACH applications. Youll work closely with end users, developers, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, implement new solutions, and optimize application functionality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Incident & Problem Management
Own the incident management process for application-related issues.
Act as the final escalation point for technical issues, performing root cause analysis and resolution.
Minimize service disruptions and ensure timely restoration of services within SLA targets.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues.
Resolve application errors and bugs, working with development teams when needed.
Use diagnostic tools and logs to investigate and resolve complex problems.
Documentation & Standards
Develop and maintain support documentation
Establish and enforce application support standards and best practices.
User Support & Training
Provide expert-level support and guidance to end users and internal teams.
Assist in onboarding and training new team members on supported applications.
Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.

5-7+ years of experience with Application Support/ Application Analyst
ACH - Deep business knowledge of ACH + understands ACH as a product
CICS ability to navigate transaction data on CICS greenscreens
PEP+ Functional Knowledge
Banking industry experience or previous 5/3 experience
Snowflake (fundamental knowledge; knows how to engage with basic functions & extract data)
PowerBi can create simple dashboard
ServiceNow navigate the platform
