Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Accessibility Analyst to support a large higher education client experiencing an increased demand for accessibility reviews across digital platforms. This individual will play a critical role in evaluating systems, software, and websites for accessibility compliance, and performing both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate is process driven yet analytical, understands accessibility standards at a deeper level, and can confidently communicate with non technical audiences.

Day-to-Day:
• Review websites, systems, and software for accessibility compliance
• Perform manual and automated accessibility testing
• Document findings, risks, and remediation recommendations clearly
• Identify accessibility red flags and escalate concerns when appropriate
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and non-technical partners to explain findings
• Ensure accessibility reviews align with 508 standards and internal processes
• Recommend process improvements to help scale accessibility efforts amid increased demand
• Support a growing volume of accessibility requests across the university

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of digital accessibility principles and standards
• Experience testing and reviewing websites, software, and enterprise systems for accessibility
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated accessibility testing
• Working knowledge of Section 508 and accessibility compliance requirements
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain accessibility concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience creating or remediating accessible content
• Accessibility certifications such as:
o Trusted Tester
o CPACC
o IAAP (IAAPA)
• Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (ex: screen readers, automated scanners, browser tools, etc.)
• Higher education experience
