Job Description

An employer is seeking a Retail Install Project Manager to support large‑scale retail technology deployment initiatives. This individual will be responsible for overseeing multiple retail hardware installation projects across hundreds of store locations, working closely with vendors, internal divisions, and field resources to ensure successful execution.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience managing retail hardware installs (e.g., big‑box retail, fast food, or multi‑site environments) and thrives in a fast‑paced, operational setting where strong communication and scheduling are critical.

Lead and manage two major retail installation programs, providing oversight and coordination across vendors and internal teams
Serve as the primary point of contact for cross‑functional communication, including store divisions, scheduling teams, and external partners
Oversee and help mentor 2 internal team members supporting project execution
Manage vendor relationships, consolidating and coordinating work across a reduced vendor pool
Ensure repeatable, scalable processes are followed across all store installations

Project 1: Retail PC Refresh

Oversee the installation of PCs and thin clients (including tablets) across 500+ retail store locations
Establish and manage a repeatable, rinse‑and‑repeat deployment process

Project 2: Delivery Platform Terminal Replacement

Lead the rollout and replacement of DoorDash / Uber Eats terminals and tablets in retail locations
Support kickoff and execution of a program targeting 2,700 stores by end of year
Provide oversight and coordination for field execution while leveraging existing installation scripts and processes

Required Skills & Experience

Project Management experience managing retail hardware installations (required)
Prior experience overseeing large‑scale retail rollouts (hundreds to thousands of locations)
Background in IT hardware refreshes, POS systems, or retail technology deployments
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
Experience working with and coordinating third‑party vendors
Excellent communication skills; ability to work effectively with multiple divisions and scheduling teams
