Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Management/Purchasing Coordinator to manage our procurement process and maintain optimal inventory levels. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless flow of materials, reducing costs through effective vendor management, and maintaining high inventory accuracy.

This role will be 50% office based, 50% on the ground of the warehouse. In the future, the role will shift closer to 70% office / 30% warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing: Process purchase orders, requisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, perform regular physical counts/cycle counts, and reconcile stock with database records.
Data Management: Utilize ERP or inventory management software to track stock levels, generate reports, and maintain accurate records of purchases.
Logistics & Troubleshooting: Coordinate with warehouse staff for receiving and resolve shipping or invoicing discrepancies. In the future, this role will interface with vendors and manage contractual processes with 3rd parties.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred, or relevant work experience.

5 years of experience in inventory management / purchasing.

Longevity in roles - nobody hoppy!

Strong skills in MS Excel (spreadsheets, filtering/sorting, formulas).

Experience working in ERP and inventory management systems.

Ability to manage shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong ability to meet deadlines.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
