Job Description

An employer in the Dayton, OH, area is seeking a TS/SCI Model Based System Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will be responsible but not limited to the following: Will focus on developing and applying digital system models to analyze foreign space systems, support threat assessments, and enhance mission planning. The MBSE Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to visualize complex architectures, ensure data traceability, and contribute to predictive intelligence efforts in a mission-critical environment. Will be required to sit on site at the base and have an active TS/SCI Security clearance.

Required Skills & Experience

Active TS/SCI Security clearance
Bachelor’s Degree (STEM related)
At least 5+ years of Model Based Systems Engineering experience
Experience using Cameo or MagicDraw
Proven ability to comprehend/develop/decompose System Architecture/Requirements (from System Specifications high-level requirements to the lowest level) in a model-based environment
Experience interfacing with customers, subject matter experts, analysts, architects, designers, system engineers and specialty engineers to capture.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Master’s Degree
Experience using AFSIM
