Job Description
An employer in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join their team as a direct hire employee. In this role, the Modeling and Simulation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, validating, and applying computational models and simulations to analyze complex systems, predict performance, and support engineering, operational, and business decision-making. This role partners closely with systems engineers, software developers, data scientists, and domain experts to translate real-world problems into accurate, scalable models that inform design, optimization, and risk assessment. They will be working closely with the government customer and will be communicating closely with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
3-8 years of experience in the use of modeling and simulation software development framworks
MATLAB or Simulink experience
TMAP or ITASE experience
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or physics discipline
Active Top Secret SCI clearance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Master’s degree in an engineering or physics discipline
