Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Flight Safety Program Manager to sit in the DC area to support the FAA when it comes to space launch flight safety analysis. This person is going to be ensuring the flight safety analysis reviews meet quality control, timeline and process standards, interface with senior aerospace agency executives to ensure execution in alignment with broad government goals as well as ensure compliance for all relevant national and international aerospace safety standards and regulations for the FAA. Other responsibilities will be to help manage relationships, maintain schedule, cost, quality, subcontract and communication requirements as directed by the FAA and assist with risk management when it comes to different methodologies within flight safety analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the aerospace, aviation, or space industry
o 5 years focused on safety, compliance, or risk management
- - Ability to obtain a clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- FAA experience
- Clearance
- Masters degree or relevant certifications is preferred- PMP
