Job Description

Collaborate with the Digital Office Offer Management Team (Segment Leaders, Offer Managers, Product Owners), Global Learning and Development Program Manager, and IT Learning Management to identify strategic initiatives that will enhance the learning program.
Partner with field sales, Digital Office Offer Management Team, Channel, and Marketing teams to ensure the learning program is effective, supports the business strategy, improves communication, and enables growth while supporting Eaton’s financial goals and values.
Align with the global digital learning strategy while modifying the approach as needed in the region and/or country based on different go-to-market approaches.
Provide consultative services to the Design and Development team in identifying and implementing alternative and e-Learning materials that complement the curriculum of instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and web courses.
Responsible for in-person and virtual class administration and preparation, including developing a training plan, scheduling, set-up, enrollment, travel, demo equipment, activity materials, courseware, assessments, evaluation, and follow-up.
Create, maintain, and update training materials including instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, train-the-trainer PowerPoint presentations, training exercises, and other segment-focused learning materials.
Provide regular feedback to key stakeholders, achieve program metric goals, track program data, compile reports, and actively seek cost-saving and productivity improvement opportunities.
Offer interactive courses that meet learning objectives to sell and support Distributed IT, DCIM, and EPMS solutions in the digital software market segment.
Thrive in a team environment by sharing best practices with other training specialists.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
Five years (5) of data center software industry experience.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%.
Experience in facilitation, instructional design, and adult learning principles.
Ability to lift, move, and set up demo equipment weighing in excess of 60 lbs, with or without accommodation.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Qualified candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of the posted location.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Technical knowledge and project experience with intelligent and/or software products, and the ability to quickly learn new products applicable to the Data Center and Industrial market segments.
Knowledge of channel partners, specifiers, and customers, as well as familiarity with the basic form, fit, and function of related products within the market segment.
Ability to rapidly learn product technical aspects and transfer those skills to North American Sales, sales representatives, and key channel partners.
Minimum of three years in software sales or intelligent product management.
Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong collaborative working style, working at multiple levels of an organization.
Ability to think and act strategically to address organizational training and development needs.
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
Exceptional customer service orientation.
Knowledge and experience with adult learning practices.
