Job Description
One of our government customers is seeking a Program Manager to sit onsite at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton. This person will serve as a trusted advisor and integrator across government and contractor teams, supporting USAF acquisition and RDT&E efforts tied to autonomy and collaborative platforms. On a daily basis, this role helps USG PMs and senior military leaders with acquisition planning, milestone decision support, and program documentation while tracking taskers, managing action items, and maintaining operational cadence. The PM provides issue resolution and strategic recommendations, supports budget and resource management, identifies and mitigates program risks, and ensures compliance with FAR, Air Force policies, and governance requirements. This role also establishes KPIs and performance metrics, mentors team members, and acts as a key go between to keep complex programs aligned with mission objectives and moving forward.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of acquisition or program management experience
o Strong advisory style PM background (not overly tactical)
- Experience supporting DoD / USAF acquisition programs
• Schedule, cost, and performance
• Taskers and action items
• Oversight boards and operational cadence
- Experience mentoring USG and contractor teams
- Comfort interfacing with senior DoD and military leadership
- Active TS/SCI clearance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and documentation
Experience with large scale USG software acquisition programs
Exposure to autonomy systems or systems of systems architectures
PMP or Master’s degree
Prior operational flight or Air Force tactical environment experience
Tools: Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams
