Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Distribution Manager to join an enterprise retail company onsite full-time permanent in Mexico City. Based onsite at the Mexico City Distribution Center (DC), this role owns day‑to‑day distribution center operations through a third party logistics (3PL) partner. The manager is accountable for overseeing inbound, outbound, storage, and fulfillment workflows, ensuring SLAs are met, operational metrics are tracked, and reporting aligns with North American (NAM) standards. This person will spend significant time on the floor managing flow, resolving issues in real time, and addressing operational gaps related to capacity, layout, and process. A major focus will be stabilizing operations in a high‑growth, startup‑like environment, tightening execution following inventory shrink and lost inventory issues, and helping stand up scalable processes as the company grows its Mexico footprint. The role will also be responsible for building and coaching a local team, including future DC Specialists, and partnering closely with planning, inventory, and global stakeholders.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience leading DC or warehouse operations, ideally in partnership with a 3PL
Proven experience managing SLAs, operational KPIs, and service performance at a leadership level
Strong on‑site leadership presence with comfort operating in a fast‑changing, ambiguous environment
Experience establishing or rebuilding processes rather than operating within a fully mature, plug‑and‑play operation
Ability to work cross‑functionally and align local operations with North America standards
Fluency navigating cultural and operational differences in a Mexico‑based environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience scaling or launching a new DC or distribution network
Background in retail, apparel, or high‑volume consumer goods
Experience managing periods of rapid growth, capacity constraints, or re‑bidding of 3PL partners
Strong change leadership skills and comfort driving process improvement from the ground up

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
