Director of Accounts Payable

A client of Insight Global is looking for a director of accounts payable to support a major healthcare system in the Carolinas. This director will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounts payable process for the entire organization, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective internal controls. This role leads a team of Accounts Payable specialists, supports process improvement initiatives, and collaborates with various departments to maintain financial integrity and operational efficiency. Additional responsibilities include oversee month-end and year-end close for accounts payable, reporting, evaluate and implement automation and technology solutions, presents reports to senior leadership on performance, participate in audits, and more.

• 7+ years of experience working within Accounts Payable
• 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• 5 years of experience working in management
• Bachelor’s in accounting, finance, or business
• Strong experience working with Excel- pivot tables, vlookups, xlookups, formulas, if then statements, reconciliations
- Must sit in Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Wyoming

• Infor NetSuite experience or ERP experience
• CPA
• Master’s degree
