Job Description
*Can work REMOTELY on East Coast, preferably someone in NC or wanting to relocate to NC*
You will review customer technical specs, one-line diagrams, and schematics to design Siemens medium voltage switchgear solutions that meet their needs on time and within budget.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Create engineering documents for medium voltage switchgear, either independently or with a team
• Use configurator software to develop one-line drawings, control schematics, and bills of material accurately
• Take full ownership of project deliverables as the technical lead
• Support manufacturing to ensure the final product matches the design
• Provide technical support to service teams and customers when needed

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Good communication to be able to speak with customers as well as internal teams
• Electrical drafting experience with Engineering Base, ELCAD, and/or AutoCAD Electrical, or similar.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• A master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL, and NEMA standards for MV Switchgear.
• Experience creating and working with smart CAD blocks.
ELCAD or Eplan experience
