Job Description

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Own and manage multiple concurrent government‑funded workforce initiatives, independently driving execution across up to 15+ active programs
- Build and maintain program frameworks, including timelines, compliance requirements, success metrics, and reporting
- Ensure all awarded programs meet government guidelines, compliance standards, and performance metrics, partnering with HR and Health & Safety as needed
- Serve as a primary external-facing representative, presenting program updates and outcomes to government officials, investors, and community stakeholders
- Coordinate with economic development leaders, county officials, and education partners to support local workforce and manufacturing growth initiatives
- Partner closely with Talent Management and People Ops to align hiring needs, onboarding, training, and workforce readiness programs
- Design and support STEM, internship, and early‑career pipeline programs, with a focus on conversion to full-time employment
- Manage and optimize LMS platforms (e.g., Kallidus or similar), including evaluating systems, tracking training completion, and recommending improvements
- Coordinate training logistics within manufacturing and production environments, including scheduling training that pulls employees off the production floor
- Maintain ongoing stakeholder relationships, schedule and lead cross-functional meetings, and communicate program status to leadership and C‑suite executives
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and present data-driven recommendations to leadership

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in training, learning & development, workforce development, or related roles
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Organizational Development, Business, or related field
- Experience managing government-funded, compliance, or regulatory training programs
- Proven program/project management experience; ability to build frameworks and manage multiple initiatives
- Strong independent/self-starter with excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills
- Experience presenting to external stakeholders (government officials, investors, partners)
- Working knowledge of manufacturing or production environments
- Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including administration and evaluation
- Experience supporting onboarding and workforce readiness programs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- PMP certification or formal project/program management credentials
- Background in state, federal, or nonprofit organizations
- Experience with internship, apprenticeship, STEM, or early-career programs
- Familiarity with workforce development grants, incentive programs, or public-private partnerships
