Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Business Analyst/Deployment Manager for a top retail and grocery industry client. This individual will be responsible for planning, engineering, and deploying critical IT systems and infrastructure across enterprise environments. The role blends hands-on technical execution with project ownership, requiring someone who can translate business needs into technical solutions, manage deployments, and collaborate across engineering, product, QA, and business teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with POS experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to take ownership of small to medium projects from initiation through deployment in a hybrid onsite environment.

Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of overall IT / systems infrastructure experience
POS experience with NCR POS EX (2.0) or NCR POS Emerald (1.0)
Experience managing and executing deployments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong Excel skills
Working knowledge of SQL
Batch scripting experience
Experience managing projects end-to-end
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision (self-starter)
Strong communication skills (technical and non-technical)
Hands-on hardware experience, including lab environment work

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required)
Wireless Android application experience
API integration knowledge
Experience partnering with product teams and solution engineers
Retail or grocery industry technology experience
