Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Quality Investigator to support manufacturing operations at a pharmaceutical site in Rocky Mount. This role requires individuals who can hit the ground running, independently manage complex investigations, and confidently partner with cross-functional stakeholders. The investigator will serve as a key driver of deviation investigations related to manufacturing operations, acting as a mini project manager overseeing multiple investigations concurrently from initiation through closure.

• Lead and manage deviation investigations related to manufacturing operations, including:
o Equipment preparation
o Early-stage formulation
o Filling operations
• Own investigations resulting from confirmed out of specification (OOS) results where root cause is tied to the manufacturing process
• Partner closely with operations, quality, and technical stakeholders to:
o Schedule and facilitate M1 meetings
o Drive the DMAIC investigation process
o Ensure timely progression through all investigation phases
• Serve as a primary point of coordination for investigations, effectively balancing multiple active investigations at different stages
• Identify required interviews, data sources, and documentation to support thorough root cause analysis
• Provide guidance to stakeholders while maintaining ownership of investigation execution
• Review and refine investigation content prior to final approval, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance
• Support shop floor engagement as needed to gather evidence and context

Required Skills & Experience

Yellow Belt or M1 qualification
3–5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical investigations
Ability to independently manage high investigation volume with minimal supervision
