Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a QC Analytical Chemist II to support a Quality Control laboratory in Rocky Mount, NC. This individual will perform routine analytical testing in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment, ensuring timely and accurate laboratory results while supporting product quality and compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate will have prior pharmaceutical QC laboratory experience, hands-on wet chemistry experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine analytical testing in accordance with cGMP requirements and approved procedures
Execute wet chemistry testing including sample preparation, titrations, pH testing, and related analytical techniques
Follow laboratory SOPs, test methods, and written/verbal instructions with a high degree of accuracy
Document laboratory activities in compliance with GDP and cGMP standards
Support testing of pharmaceutical materials and products within the Quality Control laboratory
Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure data integrity requirements are met
Adapt to changing priorities and support urgent testing requests as needed
Collaborate with laboratory personnel to meet production and quality timelines
Participate in training and qualification activities during onboarding

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline
Minimum 1 year of cGMP laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical Quality Control environment
Hands-on wet chemistry experience
Open to permanent 2nd shift
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
HPLC experience
Experience with UV-Vis spectroscopy
Experience with Karl Fischer titration
Experience with auto titration methods
Pharmaceutical manufacturing site experience
Investigation or deviation support experience
