Job Description
We are seeking a highly knowledgeable Senior Architect with expertise in Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), specifically Gainwell’s Interchange platform. This role will help bridge technical understanding between our internal teams, Gainwell, and our clients, ensuring smooth collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as an expert advisor on the structure, functionality, and nuances of Gainwell’s Interchange system.
• Educate and prepare internal teams ahead of client and vendor meetings to ensure alignment on terminology and system capabilities.
• Serve as a “translator” in meetings between Deloitte, Gainwell, and client teams, ensuring clarity.
• Support multiple project teams across various states; no state-specific restriction.
• Collaborate with leadership to reduce friction and improve efficiency in Medicaid IT consulting engagements.

Required Skills & Experience
• Significant experience working with Gainwell’s Interchange MMIS or similar Medicaid systems.
• Ability to explain complex system structures and their variations across states.
• Strong client-facing communication and consulting skills.
• Experience working in a consulting environment at a manager/senior manager level (or equivalent).
• Comfortable working across multiple teams and projects in a remote or distributed environment.
Position: Senior MMIS Architect / SME (Medicaid Interchange)
