Insight Global is seeking a Senior Ruby-on-Rails Developer to work remotely out India. This person will be tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining multiple web applications using Ruby-on-Rails. This candidate will work on building new applications and enhancing existing applications, incorporating new features, and optimizing performance. This role will require experience integrating applications with other systems and databases to ensure data flow and functionality, conducting testing procedures to validate the functionality and performance of the developed applications and enhancements. Daily they will be supporting user testing, respond to feedback, implement changes, and assist in the transition of projects to other teams or clients as needed. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert for Ruby-on-Rails. This position is looking to start ASAP.
** This is a project based role! This candidate will be working a set 40 hours a month on their own time with prescheduled meetings in EST time zone. Along with the 40 hours a month, they will be tasked with projects adding 5-10 hours a week.***

5-7 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Ruby-on-Rails (RoR)
Domain knowledge
Experience with containerization utilizing Docker
Experience unit testing and communicating results
Experience applying certificates in Ruby-on-Rails
Experience in solutioning architecture using Ruby-on-Rails
Experience with Draftable API
