Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for supporting construction projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires experience with underground utility construction and involves coordinating teams, managing timelines, and communicating with clients and stakeholders.
Support and oversee construction projects from kickoff through completion
Coordinate daily project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking
Work closely with field teams and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
Assist with project planning, including scope, timelines, and resource needs
Track project progress and support reporting, forecasting, and documentation
Help manage procurement of materials, equipment, and labor
Support meetings to review project status, manpower, and equipment needs
Assist with contracts, change orders, and subcontractor coordination
Identify potential risks and help resolve issues as they arise
Communicate with internal teams and clients to keep projects moving forward

Required Skills & Experience
• 5-8 years of project management experience in construction
○ Transmisssion, substation, distribution, or EPC environments
• Proven ability to oversee large, complex projects from planning through execution. (At least $10-$20 million projects)
• Supervises other Project Managers and provides mentorship to junior staff.
• Demonstrated experience managing underground utility construction projects.
OSHA 30
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Skilled in reading and interpreting civil, structural, and electrical plans and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experienced in Primavera for project scheduling.
Familiar with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, and other applicable safety and construction regulations.
