Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of substation projects.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure project objectives are met.
Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Oversee the procurement of materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and address any on-site issues.
Facilitate project meetings and communication among team members and stakeholders.
Prepare and present project reports and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
3-6 years of experience in project management, preferably within the energy sector.
Proven track record of successfully managing substation projects.
GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) experience
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and substation design.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Experience with renewable energy projects and sustainability initiatives.
Electrical background
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to substations
